4.3 Control and monitoring
The CLU5 pulse lubrication system is
controlled and monitored through the Load
Display Unit (LDU). After the lubrication pulse
arrives at the LDU, the CCM-20 external
monitoring electronics checks this signal and
forwards it to the 4/2 directional solenoid
valve on the timed lubricator. The lubrication
pulse is triggered electrically/hydraulically and
the pressure sensor provides feedback to the
monitoring electronics.
The LDU automatically compensates for
temperature-related and viscosity-related
delays so that precise lubrication is always
ensured.
If a correct lubricating cycle is not determined
due to injector nozzle blockade, the CCM-20
monitoring electronics sends a fault notiica-
tion to the Load Display Unit (LDU).

Condition on delivery/notice
When delivered, the displacement of the timed
lubricator is set to a ixed value in accordance
with the order number.
The CLU5 pulse lubrication system has a
modular design and is employed according to
user requirements.
A universally applicable description of the
commissioning procedure is therefore not
possible.
The following commissioning information ap-
plies only to the individual components of the
CLU5 pulse lubrication system and must be
used only on conjunction with the operating
instructions from the engine manufacturer.
In the case of discrepancies between the
description of the CLU5 and the commission-
ing description from the engine manufac-
turer, follow the instructions from the engine
manufacturer.
