Replacing the fan

DANGER!

Opening the photometer in potentially explosive areas.

Opening the photometer in potentially explosive areas can lead to an explosion.



The instrument may be opened only after the service voltage has been interrupted and a
period of at least ten minutes has elapsed.

WORKSTEP

ADDITIONAL INFO / IMAGES

Interrupt the service voltage to the photome-
ter.

Open the door according to Section 5.3.

Unplug the power supply to the fan on the
PMTVV-Print (circle, blue plug).

Remove the four screws and then remove the
fan.

Insert the new fan and fasten in place with the
four screws.

Ensure that the fan connections are

pointing downwards.

Plug in the power supply to the fan on the
PMTVV-Print (circle, blue plug).

Close the door according to Section 5.3.

Re-establish the service voltage.
