2.3 Sweep Setting
When the RF sweep function is enabled, the RF signal is output from the N-type connector
of
[RF OUTPUT 50Ω]
on the front panel.
Note:
The RF signal will be on only when the RF switch is on.
Press
SWEEP
to enter RF sweep setting.
Sweep State
The sweep state is off by default. The signal generator SSG5000A offers three different
RF sweep types: Freq, Level, and Freq & Level.
Clicking the drop-down box of the sweep state to choose a sweep type:

Off: Default state. The RF sweep function is disabled.
⚫
Freq: Enable frequency sweep. The frequency parameter bar refreshes the current
frequency value in real time and the current sweep progress can be observed on the
frequency sweep progress bar.

Level: Enable level sweep. The frequency parameter bar refreshes the current level
value in real time and the current sweep progress can be observed on the level
sweep progress bar.

Freq & Level: Enable frequency sweep and level sweep function. The frequency and
level parameter bar refreshes the current frequency and level value in real time and
the current sweep progress can be observed on the frequency and level sweep
progress bar.
Sweep Pause
When the sweep state is on, the sweep pause button will be presented on the right of
sweep state. Click the pause button to stop the sweep manually. After clicking the pause
button, it will become
“continue” and the sweep stop at this time. And then clicking the
continue button, it will become “pause” and the sweep start at this time. You can repeat
