Checking the Dose Rate
PDA Sensor Adjustment

Preparations:
- Place 1.2 mm Cu filtration in the beam path.
•
Start the XCS service PC and select "Multiline" from the "Components" items after
logging in.
•
Select the menu item "Adjustment-Nominal Value" and enter the following values:

Select "Doserate Adjust" in the "Adjustment" menu and with Fluoro on, change the mA
until a dose rate of 870 nGy/s is measured at the I.I. input without a grid or 1444 nGy/s
with a grid:

Start fluoroscopy with

•
Set the dose to
870 nGy/s
(100 uR/s) at the I.I. input by increasing the tube current
(nominal value for PDA).
•
Remove the dose measurement chamber.
•
Open the collimator to max. aperture.
•
Remove the cover of the light distributor.

light will distort the setting.
