Checking the Dose Rate
A. Indirect measurement of the fluoroscopic dose

The tube assembly housing must be installed and the urology insert must not be inserted.
•
Place the 2.1mm Cu precision filter on the collimator.
•
Select the anti-isowatt curve (automatic 1).
•
Switch fluoroscopy
ON.
•
Read the fluoro values for kV and mA for the displayed formats and enter them in the
table.
If the kV and mA values correspond to the specifications, the next field will accept
entries. In case of deviations, a corresponding field is displayed.
If the kV and mA values are within the acceptable range, the dose values are displayed.

The dose rate adjustment is performed using the service PC.
The required adjustment menus are described in the Start-up Instructions
"System Configuration with the Service PC", RXL2-120.034.02...
•
Place the 2.1 mm Cu precision filter on the collimator.
•
Center the dosimeter chamber on the I.I.
•
Establish the connection between the service PC and the generator.
•
Call up the XCS service software.
•
Enter User Identification and enter User name: Name.
•
Enter Group ID:
_Siemens
.
•
Click OK.
•
Select "System Terminal Setting and Connect: 19200 or 9600" for the Baud rate.
•
Click Login.
•
Confirm the message "Adjusting and/or configuration ..." with OK.
•
Call up POLYDOROS in the Components menu.
•
Switch on S3/X44.
•
Confirm the prompt "Set the S3/X44 switch ..." with OK.
The green LED V90 on D100 lights up.
•
Select Doserate in the Adjustment menu.
The message
"
IImaximum ...
"
appears.
•
Select the I.I. full field of view and open the collimator to the size of the measurement
chamber.
•
Confirm the message
"
IImaximum ...
"
with OK.
•
Click Fluoroscopy on.
•
Change the mA value so that the dose rate desired appears on the dosimeter.
