Simple replace-
ment process
for Sinteso
TM
devices
The process of replacing Sinteso
TM
devices is a simple one. Once the defective device has been
found, it can be replaced by a new device of the
same type
.
Operating ac-
cess
If you still don't have operating access when starting operation work, the release procedure is
automatically called up.
Test condition -
> On operating
mode
The command is available at zone level. A message to this effective is displayed on the termi-
nal. Only one element can be replaced per replacement session.
Perform the following steps to set a defective Sinteso
TM
detector to 'Test condition' operating
mode:

same type
in the FDnet.

The AI in the device flashes for a few seconds (only if the device type is the same).

Once this command has been executed, the message

appears.

Once the test condition has been completed, the zone must be reset to normal operation us-
ing the 'Zone -> Test condition off' command, as described on the next page.
