What is a
'Fault'?

Abnormal system statuses, e.g. caused by defective devices or installations.

Fault messages require an immediate response.

Isolation

What is a
'Isolation'?

'Isolation' indicates that one or more system parts are temporarily switched off.

Examples

Some system parts which can be temporarily switched off are: zones, elements, horns, remote
transmission, printer.

Switching off system parts prevents them functioning. The Isolation function must therefore be
used with great care.
As soon as the conditions are normal again, any switched off system parts must be switched
back on again straightaway.

Information

What is a
'Information'?

All other messages, such as 'Manned' / 'Unmanned'.

Information messages do not require an immediate response.
