Assembly
Reassemble units in the reverse order to disassembly
taking care to the following points.
1. Cylinder head and piston

When replacing O-ring or seals, check grooves for
dust, damage, etc. and coat new ones with grease
before installing.
Use jigs to install wiper rings and bushes.

When installing the cylinder head and piston to the
piston rod, take care not to damage seal
components.

Tighten the nut with specified torque, then caulk the
rod end at 3 points to lock as shown in the right
figure.

2. Cylinder head and cylinder tube

Insert the assembly of the cylinder head, piston and
piston rod, which was assembled in the previous
paragraph, to the cylinder tube.
At this time, coat the cylinder head thread with
grease and tighten with specified torque.

127.4 N

(13 kgf · m)
➁
After tightening the cylinder head, bend the end of
the cylinder tube.
➂ If remove adapter form the cylinder, install the
adapter on the 37 degrees from cylinder center.
