12. Diverter valve
➀
Remove the banjo bolt and disconnect the sump
return from the diverter valve disconnect the other
end from the sump.
➁ Disconnect the system pressure line from the
diverter valve and the lift cover.
13. Rubber, drive shaft
➀
Loosen the clamps on the front wheel drive shaft
rubber boot and slide the boot rearward to gain
access to the shaft universal joint.
➁
Remove the universal joint locking bolts from the
front axle and transmission end universal joints and
if necessary, remove the drive shaft.
14. Power steering piping
➀
Remove the clamps for power steering oil pipings.
➁
Disconnect the oil pipes and hoses and remove
them.
15. Wiring
➀
Disconnect the wire harness from the starter,
alternator, engine temperature switch, glow plug
and engine oil pressure switch, and move the
harness out of the way.
➁ Remove the starter mounting bolts and remove the
starter.
