2. Left

turn

When the steering wheel is turned counterclockwise from the neutral position, the spool groove is turned

counterclockwise and deviated from the hole and groove of the sleeve.

At this condition, the oil passes through the spool groove and spool hole, and is supplied to gerotor.

The gerotor is rotated counterclockwise, the oil is discharged through the sleeve hole and spool groove, fed to the

cylinder from the port L, and the wheels are turned to the left. The oil from the port R is returned to suction pipe
through the holes and grooves of the sleeve and spool.

When the steering wheel is turned still more after the wheels are turned fully to the left, the relief valve is actuated and
the oil is returned to the suction pipe. (Right turn operation is the same as in the left turn.)
