4. At emergency (engine stop)

No oil is supplied from the oil pump at emergency. If the steering wheel is turned counterclockwise at this condition,

the Gerotor is rotated by the force of the operator. Resultantly the passage inside becomes negative pressure, and the oil
from the oil tank moves the check valve bottom and is supplied. The oil supplied flows the same passage as in the
normal left turn.

The oil returned from the port R does not return to the tank but flows to the check valve. Therefore the flow of the oil
pumped up form the tank stops at this time.
