Creating a new project
Proceed as follows to create a new project:
1. Start
the
SIMATIC
Manager
and
create
a
new
project.
Select your control type and add the required modules. The following modules
make sense:
ð
OB82 module:
This module makes sure that the controller does not trigger
"STOP" in the event of so-called diagnostic alarms.
ð
OB86 module:
This module indicates the failure of decentralized peripherals.
ð
OB122 module:
This module is called if the controller cannot access the data
of a node of the decentralized periphery. This can occur when, for example, the
drive with MFE PROFINET IO interface is ready for operation later than the
control system.
2. Switch to the "Network view" tab of the TIA Portal.
3. Right-click on the PROFINET IO slot and insert a "PROFINET IO system" in the
context menu.
4. Go to the "Device view" tab of the CPU.
5. Edit the Ethernet addresses via the "Ethernet addresses" menu item.
