10 Decommissioning and Recycling
10.1 Safety
The lifting device may only be decommissioned and prepared for disposal by qualified specialists.
10.2 Decommissioning the Lifting Device
1. Switch off the vacuum generator and secure it so it cannot be started up again without permission.
2. Disconnect the energy supply.
3. Park the lifting device securely.
4. Remove the lifting device from the hoist.
5. Remove the suction plates.
6. Store the lifting device so that it cannot be damaged and protect it against unauthorized use.
10.3 Disposing of the Lifting Device
1. Decommission the lifting device.
2. Remove any electrical components (control boxes, cables, etc.) and dispose of them separately.
3. Release the hose clamps and remove the vacuum hoses.
4. Remove the suction plate holders and dispose of the materials separately.
5. Detach and dispose of the suction plates.
6. Release the end stop screws on the beams.
7. Remove the clamping units and dispose of the materials separately.
8. Detach and dispose of the beams.
9. Detach and dispose of the vacuum generator in accordance with the operating instructions supplied
separately.
10. Detach and dispose of the basic module.

and instruct the company to observe the applicable disposal and environmental regulations.

10.4 Disposing of the Gas Pressure Spring (Optional Movable Operator Handle)

Do not dispose of the gas pressure spring without letting off the pressure.

Cover the drilled hole.
