7.1.1 Safety Instructions for Operation

While handling loads with a swiveling point that is above 1.8 m, cordon off the work-
ing area.

Wear an industrial helmet.

Before each handling operation, make sure that no persons are in the danger zone.

Never transport loads above people.

Observe the maximum lift capacity (see the type plate and lift capacity sticker).

Make sure there are no loose objects on the load.

Do not store loads in a suspended position.
WARNING
The hook can open if the chain is not tensioned. This can cause the lifting device to
fall.

When lowering the lifting device, ensure that the hook is always slightly under tension.
CAUTION
The surface of the load is dusty, dirty, oily, damp or icy.
Risk of injury from falling load!

Before any handling, ensure that the surface of the load is clean, dry and free of ice.

The main switch is set to 1 during the entire handling process.
1. Do not release the operator handle.
2. Keep an eye on the vacuum gauge.
7.1.2 Using the Lifting Device Properly
Improper use of the lifting device can endanger the operator and damage the product.

Handle loads only in the horizontal direction.
•
The handling process must not be assisted or hindered by external means or influences.
