8.1 Safety
8.1.1 Safety Instructions for Troubleshooting
Faults in the lifting device may only be repaired by qualified mechanics and electricians.
Personnel must have read and understood the operating instructions.

Electric shock from touching live components
Serious injury or death!

Make sure that the electrical components are not live before installation, maintenance
and troubleshooting.

Switch off the mains switch and secure against unauthorized restart.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to vacuum!

Switch the vacuum generator off before performing troubleshooting or maintenance
work.

Make sure that there is no stored residual vacuum remaining in the vacuum circuit.

Unexpected movements

Before working on the lifting device VacuMaster, ensure that the crane cannot move.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to incorrect maintenance or troubleshooting

Check the proper functioning of the product, especially the safety features, after every
maintenance or troubleshooting operation.

The following protective equipment is required for installation, troubleshooting and maintenance
