1. Ensure that the vacuum generator is switched off and no residual vacuum is in the vacuum reservoir.
2. Drain the water separator.
9.5 Cleaning the Dust Filter
DANGER
Falling load.
If the dust filter is clogged, the warning device will not trigger even though the
vacuum at the suction pad is insufficient.
Serious injury or death!
4
Depending on the dust load, clean the dust filter at least once a week.
See the dust filter operating instructions in the appendix.
1. Switch off the vacuum generator.
2. Make sure that there is no stored residual vacuum remaining in the vacuum circuit. Vent the vacuum
reservoir, if necessary.
3. Clean or replace the filter cartridge according to the operating instructions for the dust filter.
4. Replace very dirty or damaged filter cartridges.
9.6 Checking the Suspension Eye for Wear
WARNING
Wearing of the suspension eye
Serious injury or death!
4
Check the diameter of the suspension point at least once per year.
4
If the diameter at the suspension eye is less than 10 percent of the nominal diameter,
replace the suspension eye.
9.7 Cleaning the lifting device
The lifting device must only be cleaned with an agent containing active tensides (pH-neutral).
NOTE
Aggressive cleaning agents
Damage to the suction plates and vacuum hoses!
4
For cleaning, do not use aggressive cleaning agents such as cold cleaners, carbon tetra-
chloride, hydrocarbons or vinegar-based cleaning products.
4
Do not use sharp-edged objects (wire brushes, sandpaper, etc.).
