6.6.2 Releasing the Vacuum Tube Lifter from the Parked Position
1. Turn on the vacuum generator at the main switch.
2. Release the operator handle from the locked position
by pulling down on the spherical head.
3. Release the ring eyelets on the retaining net from the
operator handle.
4. Pull the operator handle to extend the scissor arm
from the parked position.
5. The green LEDs on the pivot bearing's safety switch
(4S2) light up to signal that the scissor arm is in the
parked position.
The switch is inactive when the unit is operational. This
means the LED will be light up red.
When you have finished the lifting task, perform the previous
procedure in the reverse order.

CAUTION
Risk of injury! If you do not carefully secure the unit in the parked
position, you may not be able to start the vehicle, or it may
suddenly stop while you are driving.
This can cause injuries to the driver or to others.

Properly suspend the operator handle in the retaining net and then
secure it in the parked position. The scissor arm's locking mechanisms
must be secured.
