4. ON/OFF Controller

I ns tallatio n proced u re
1. Decide how the ON/OFF co n troller will be mo un ted: i n the n ormal ma nn er or
fl us h with the wall.
a) To mo un t the ON/OFF co n troller i n the n ormal ma nn er, remove the
mo un ti ng plate. The n reattach the fo u r s crew s to the electrical
compo n e n t box.
b) To mo un t the ON/OFF co n troller fl us h with the wall, make a n ope n i ng i n
the wall mea su ri ng 12 8 mm 12 8 mm. The ope n i ng m us t be at lea s t
8 5 mm deep a s mea su red from the o u t s ide su rface of the wall.
2. Remove the rear plate a n d co nn ect the electrical wiri ng .
1) Remove the fo u r s crew s located o n both s ide s of the rear plate.
2) Either the hole i n the top of the electrical compo n e n t box or the hole i n
the rear plate may be us ed to feed the electrical wiri ng .
3 ) If the hole o n top i s us ed, the rear plate s ho u ld be t u r n ed u p s ide dow n .
3 . S ec u re the ON/OFF co n troller i n place.
a) If the ON/OFF co n troller i s bei ng mo un ted i n the n ormal ma nn er, fir s t
attach the rear plate to the wall us i ng the s crew s a n d Rawl pl ugs
provided. Next, place the body of the ON/OFF co n troller over the rear
plate a n d s ec u re it i n place us i ng fo u r s crew s .
b) If the ON/OFF co n troller i s bei ng mo un ted fl us h with the wall, fit it
thro ug h the mo un ti ng plate o n the wall a n d s ec u re it i n place us i ng the
s crew s a n d Rawl pl ugs provided.
To mo un t the ON/OFF co n troller o n a wall made of ci n der block,
brick, co n crete, or a s imilar material, drill 4. 8 mm diameter hole s
i n the wall a n d i ns ert Rawl pl ugs to a n chor the mo un ti ng s crew s .
