Seat Belt
Buckle the Seat Belt
NOTE:
A recoil assembly (1) is attached to the seat
belt. It removes slack from the seat belt and
locks to restrain the operator. It also retracts
the seat belt when not in use.
Grasp the latch plate (2) to pull the seat belt out of the
recoil assembly, and insert the latch plate into the buckle
(3) until it locks into place. Pull on the latch-plate end of
the seat belt to make sure the seat belt is securely fastened.
Unbuckle the Seat Belt
Press the red button (4) on the buckle to release the latch
plate.
WARNING!
•
Inspect the seat belt. Replace the seat belt Immediately if the webbing is frayed or cut, if
the buckle is damaged or malfunctions, or if the mounting hardware is loose. Replace
according to seat belt manufacturer’s instructions.

Always keep the seat belt fastened during machine operation. Never twist the seat belt
when fastening it.
•
Keep belt slack to no more than 1 in. (25 mm). Belt slack beyond this amount could
significantly reduce your protection in an accident.
Failure to follow these warnings could result in death or serious injury.
