Bluetooth pass code
Pass code is an authentication code to enter when accessing Bluetooth
devices for the first time to recognize and permit the connection each
other. Entering the same pass code (up to 16 one-byte alphanumeric
character) on each sending/receiving device is required.
•
On the FOMA terminal, pass code may be displayed as "PIN".

The FOMA terminal can be searched by another Bluetooth device for
about 120 seconds.
To name the FOMA terminal
Tap
"
Device name
"
and enter a terminal name and tap "OK".
To transfer data between the FOMA terminal and other Bluetooth device by
Bluetooth connection, perform paring (connection setting) with the device in
advance and register it to the FOMA terminal.
•
Depending on Bluetooth device, only pairing is performed or pairing and
connection is performed successively.

On the Bluetooth settings screen, "Scan devices".
Detected Bluetooth devices list appears.

Touch and hold a device you want to connect
→
"Pair and
connect".
To perform only pairing
Tap a device you want to perform pairing.
•
For some Bluetooth devices, after completion of pairing, connection
may be established successively by tapping device.

Enter a pass code (PIN) for pairing if necessary
→
"OK".
When the connection is established, "Connected" is displayed below the
Bluetooth device.
When "Paired" is displayed below device
Touch and hold a device
→
"Connect".
•
Even for devices requiring entry of pass code when pairing, once
pairing is performed, entering pass code is not necessary for next
connection.
•
For the unavailable device such as non-compatible with the profile, only
"Unpair" is displayed.

When the other device requests for pairing
When a screen asking for pairing for Bluetooth connection appears, tap
"Accept" or enter a password (PIN)

Tap "OK".

To disconnect
On the Bluetooth device list, touch and hold a connected device

Information
•
When you do not use Bluetooth function, disable it to save the battery.
•
The setting of the Bluetooth ON/OFF is not changed even when the
power is turned off.
