Continuous stand-by time is an estimate of the stand-by time when radio
signal reception is normal.
The stand-by time may be decreased as low as half the time depending on
the conditions of battery charge, function settings, temperature, or radio
signal reception in the area (no reception or weak), etc.

•

A use of the Internet connection reduces the call (communication)/stand-
by time. Composing emails or applications also reduces call
(communication)/stand-by time even if you do not call or use the Internet.

•

Stationary continuous stand-by time is the estimated average operation
time when radio signal reception is normal in the stationary state.

•

Moving continuous stand-by time is the estimated average operation time
when the terminal remains in the combined condition of "stationary" and
"moving" in a service area when radio signal reception is normal and the
condition of "out of area".

•

Charging time is an estimate for charging an empty internal battery with the
FOMA terminal power off. For charging with the FOMA terminal power on,
it takes longer.
