5 List Sweep
The S5105D/E/F microwave analyzer provides a list sweep function in the spectrum analyzer mode. In
the list sweep mode, the microwave analyzer sweeps based on the frequency range and other
parameters set by the edited list. To use the list sweep function, please first edit the sweep list. Figure 5-3
shows the edit list interface. Operators for editing the sweep list are as follows:
a) Press [Swp] → [Edit List >] to open the list editing soft menu;
b) Press [Add Seg] to add a new sweep segment;
c) Press [Del Seg] to delete the currently selected segment;
d) Press [Clear List] to delete all segment information currently stored;
e) When editing a certain parameter, Press [Start Freq] , [Stop Freq] , [RBW] , [VBW] parameter in the
touch screen, input the value with the numeric keys, and select the corresponding unit to complete
the parameter settings;
f) Press [Swp] → [Swp Type Linear List] to switch the sweep mode to list sweep
Figure 5-4 shows the results of a 3-segment sweep using the list sweep function.
