Instrument Power-on/off
This chapter introduces how to turn on/off the instrument and how to recovery the system when it fails.
4.1
Connection of power supply
Check the power supply parameters and power cord before initial powering-on. For details, refer to the
precautions before powering-on in 3.1.1.3 of the User Manual.
Step 1
Connect the power cord.
Connect one end of the supporting power cord of the network
analyzer in the packing box or the three--core power cord conforming to the requirements to
the power socket on the rear panel of the network analyzer (as shown in Fig. 4-1). The
voltage indicator of the network analyzer is marked beside the power socket to remind the
user to apply the required voltage.
Connect the other end of the power cord to the required AC
power supply.
Step 2
Turn on the power switch of the rear panel
, as shown in Fig. 4-2. Observe whether
the standby status indicator above the power switch of the front panel (as shown in
Fig. 4-3) becomes yellow.
Step 3
T
urn on the power switch of the front panel,
as shown in Fig. 4-3. Do not connect any
device to the network analyzer before start-up. Start the network analyzer if all conditions
are normal. After start-up, the indicator above the power switch of the front panel will become
green.

series of self-inspection and adjustment procedures, run the main measurement program.
Then the
instrument can be operated.
Prompt
In order to meet the performance indicators of S3602 series vector network analyzer in cold start, preheat it more
than 30 minutes before measurement.
