Preventative Maintenance

Follow below instructions to replace different parts of the ventilator.

7-4-1 Oxygen Sensor

Warning

Before using the oxygen sensor, check its expiry date on the package. Outdated

oxygen sensor is not accurate and reliable.

The sensor could be used for a specific period as specified on its package. Replace the

oxygen sensor after this date or during sensor failure. Use recommended replacement oxygen

sensors by manufacturer (See section 2-3). Replace the oxygen sensor in this way:

Loosen the screw of the oxygen sensor cover and remove the cover. Carefully remove the
oxygen sensor and replace it with a correct one. Make sure that the oxygen sensor cable is
connected securely.

Warning

Calibrate the oxygen sensor after replacement.
