Explanation
Scene/Video Function A–E
Specifies the function that is assigned to the SCENE/VIDEO FUNCTION [A]–[E] button.
The current settings are shown in at the right side of the screen.
Type
Sets how the SCENE/VIDEO FUNCTION [A]–[E] buttons are used.
None
No function is assigned.
Scene The buttons are used as SCENE buttons to recall the registered scenes.
Video Function
The buttons operate as the VIDEO FUNCTION buttons, letting you execute the assigned
video-related functions.
Mode
When Type = Scene Sets the functions used when the buttons are used as SCENE buttons.
PinP
Picture-in-picture
An inset screen (a small different screen) is overlaid on the background video.
Split
Split
The screen is divided into left/right or upper/lower halves, and two videos are shown.
PbyP
Picture-by-picture
This places two screens beside each other. You can freely change the size and position of
each screen.
When Type = Video Function Sets the functions used when the buttons are used as VIDEO FUNCTION buttons.
Video Player Plays back/stops the video for STILL 1.
USB VIDEO IN Uses the video or audio input to USB VIDEO IN for STILL 1.
Still Shows the specified still image for STILL 1.
Prev Still Shows the previous still image for STILL 1.
Next Still Shows the next still image for STILL 1.
Safety Image
The safety delay function (p. 41) switches the streaming video to a still image and mutes
the streaming audio.
Input Capture Captures the still image and assigns it to STILL 2.
Save Still Captures the streaming/video source as a still image and saves it as a JPEG file to the SD card.
Output Fade Fades the main output video in/out.
When Mode = PinP
LED Color
Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow Specifies the illumination color of the SCENE [A]–[E] button.
Background Ch
HDMI IN 1 , HDMI IN 2, STILL 1, STILL 2 Specifies the background video.
