Audio Operations
Using a Load Preset
The SR-20HD provides effect presets for the mics. Simply by selecting
a preset, you can easily apply the effect that’s appropriate for your
situation.
Each preset consists of a combination of two effects (gain, equalizer,
high-pass filter).
* When you switch presets, the settings of each effect are overwritten.

[MENU] button

select “Load Preset”, and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR]
knob.
The preset list appears.
2.
Turn the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to select a preset, and
then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.

Explanation
Line Level
+4 dBu
Flat settings with no effects with a nominal input
level of +4 dBu.
Line Level
-10 dBu
Flat settings with no effects with a nominal input
level of -10 dBu.
Condenser Mic
Speech
Effects for condenser mic to makes a spoken voice
easier to understand.
Condenser Mic
Vocal
Effects for condenser mic to enhances a singing
voice.
Dynamic Mic
Speech
Effects for dynamic mic to makes a spoken voice
easier to understand.
Dynamic Mic
Vocal

NOTE
The phantom power does not turn on even if the condenser
mic preset is loaded. When using a condenser mic that requires
phantom power, switch the “P48 V” setting to “On” to
activate phantom power.
A confirmation message appears.
If you want to cancel the operation, select “Cancel”.
3.
Turn the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to select “OK”, and
then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.
The preset is loaded.
4.
Press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to close the message.
5.
Press the [MENU] button to quit the menu.
Applying Effects to Output Audio
Here’s how to modify the tonal character by applying effects to the
audio output.

select an effect menu item, and then
press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.

Turn the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to change the value
of the setting, and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR]
knob.
3.
Press the [MENU] button to quit the menu.
Limiter
Compresses the audio so that the mixed audio does not exceed the
specified threshold level.
* Distortion will occur if audio that exceeds the allowable range of
the limiter is input.

Limiter
Turns the limiter on/off.
Threshold
Specifies the threshold at which the limiter applies.
Equalizer (EQ)
Adjusts the volume for each frequency band.

Mid Gain
Boosts or attenuates the midrange band.
Mid Freq
Adjusts the center frequency when changing the
volume in the midrange band.
Mid Q
Adjusts the frequency bandwidth when boosting or
attenuating the midrange band.
Lo Gain
Boosts or attenuates the low band.
Lo Freq
Adjusts the center frequency when changing the
volume in the low band.
Hi Gain
Boosts or attenuates the high band.
Hi Freq
Adjusts the center frequency when changing the
volume in the high band.
