Audio Operations
You can use effect presets for AUDIO IN 1–4.
For details, refer to “Using a Load Preset” (p. 28).

select an effect menu item, and then press
the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.

Turn the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to change the value
of the setting, and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR]
knob.
3.
Press the [MENU] button to quit the menu.
High-pass filter (HPF 75 Hz)
Cuts off unneeded low-band audio. The cutoff frequency is 75 Hz.

Explanation
HPF 75 Hz
Turns the high-pass filter on/off.
Gate
Eliminates audio that is lower than the specified threshold level.
This is effective when the noise that you want to remove is separate
from the audio that you want to keep, and can be used to remove
hiss or other noise that is heard during periods of silence.

Gate
Turns the noise gate on/off.
Threshold
Specifies the level used as the threshold for
removing audio.
Release
Specifies the length of time until the audio is fully
attenuated after audio falls below the threshold.
Compressor
Audio that exceeds the specified threshold level is compressed.
This reduces the difference between the maximum volume and
minimum volume, making the audio more comfortable for listening.

Compressor
Turns the compressor on/off.
Threshold
Specifies the threshold at which the compressor
applies.
Ratio
Specifies the degree of compression applied to the
audio.
Attack
Specifies the time until compression starts when
audio exceeding the threshold is input.
Release
Adjusts the length of time until compression ends
after audio falls below the threshold.
Makeup Gain
Adjusts the final output volume level after applying
the compressor.
Equalizer (EQ)
Adjusts the volume for each frequency band.

Turns the equalizer on/off.
Mid Gain
Boosts or attenuates the midrange band.
Mid Freq
Adjusts the center frequency when changing the
volume in the midrange band.
Mid Q
Adjusts the frequency bandwidth when boosting or
attenuating the midrange band.
Lo Gain
Boosts or attenuates the low band.
Lo Freq
Adjusts the center frequency when changing the
volume in the low band.
Hi Gain
Boosts or attenuates the high band.
Hi Freq
Adjusts the center frequency when changing the
volume in the high band.
Applying Effects to Input Audio
You can apply effects to the input audio to adjust the character of the sound. The following table shows the effects that are available.
