Requirements and conditions
Extension module
The Single Extension Module (AGU 2.5) is an accessory used
to manage plants, even complex ones, in which the basic
electronics of the heat generator alone is not enough.
This component provides the following elements additional:
•
3 terminals for connecting pumps or components such as
high voltage, in the upper part of the module;
•
3 digital inputs, located at the bottom left.
ATTENTION : in order to safeguard the extension module it is
necessary to make the high voltage connections via relay.
These elements are added to those already available on the
heat generator, expanding its potential plant engineering.
Up to three additional extension modules can be inserted on
each boiler, which must be suitably connected and set, as
reported in the documentation specific.

Every single external module can be used to manage eg:
•
mixed circuit (with mixing valve, pump circulation and
temperature sensor);
•
direct circuit;
•
up to three circulation pumps;

Extension Module *
The single Extension Module must be connected, via the
supplied flex cable, to the X50 connector on the LMS PCB 14
and positioned in its dedicated seat, located in the part rear of
the control panel inside the boiler.
Additional Extension Modules added must be fixed to the
boiler using the two screws on the left side control panel,
following the steps in figure below. The Modules must then be
connected between them through the special cable supplied
with the Set. In fact, only the first Extension Module needs to
be connected to main electronic board, while the second and
third Module are to be connected in series with the first.
In case there are more than one Extension Module, it will also
be necessary to change the position of the micro Additional
Module switches as shown in the figure of reported below.
