Unpacking the generator
Wall mounting and fixing
Distances of respect
The cardboard used for the packaging of your product is
entirely recyclable. It is recommended to unpack the product
just before installation.
RINNAI declines any responsibility due to defects or
damage arising from inappropriate conditions of storage.
The packaging material (plastic, foam, polystyrene, nails,
screws, bolts or staples, etc.) must be kept out of the
reach of children.
The aiM condensing boiler is packed in such a way as not to
can be shaken or detached from the wooden plate.
The net weight of aiM65, aiM85, aiM115 and aiM150 boilers is
55, 69, 75 and 89 kg respectively.
Do not try to lift the appliance by yourself!
We advise you to use the appropriate equipment to raise
and secure the boiler to the wall or to a supporting structure.
Follow the steps, shown on the side, to unpack and lift the
boiler.
The last step is to lift the boiler to an upright position while
turning the bottom and rear edges (the one on the wall) of the
boiler.
Do not forget to place the boiler on supports, such as wooden
blocks, to facilitate lifting and handling in general.
The heat generator must be installed on a wall smooth
and firmly fixed to the wall using the special brackets steel
supplied.
Always check the type of structure and its load resistance
capacity. The subdivision structures (walls, floors, etc.)
must have a resistance class to fire REI / RE 60 (if lower
than 116kW) or EI / RE 120 (if above 116kW). In case the
facility does not allow a safe coupling of the generator, it is
necessary to provide special metal structures capable of
distributing the weight of the generator on the ground.
For installation you will have to:

prepare the wall fixing bar taking care of mount it firmly to
the surface of the wall with the help some hexagonal head
screws and dowels supplied;

The distances between any external point of the boiler and the
vertical and horizontal walls of the room must allow ordinary
maintenance and accessibility to the regulation, safety and
control organs. To ensure such operations, a distance of at
least 2000 mm from the front panel of the heat generator. If
provides for the installation of the appliance in a wardrobe,
which allows for outdoor installation, free space it could be
obtained by opening a door or removing a closing panel.
For any type of installation it is recommended to maintain a
lateral distance between the appliance and any other element
of about 300 mm and a lower and upper space equal to
300 mm, in order to ensure better accessibility to internal
components.

hang the boiler on the wall fixing bar using lifting devices.
Please use the screws and pins included in the package of
the boiler (there are 4 pairs).
It will be good to inject a post-drying chemical compound in
the pin hole (after drilling the wall). Measures of the central
position of the hole with respect to the boiler go adjust as
illustrated.
