Programming an initial application
When the press height is set, enter the boosters and the sonotrode you want
to use under Information / Oscillator system information. The control can
then calculate the correct value in [μm].
Set the system pressure so that an optimal welding result is achieved.
The throttle (VD) determines the temporal change in force when the parts
make contact. The higher the setting, the faster the change and the stronger
the melt intensity. The practical range is between 5 and 10.
Set value in the example: 10
NOTE
The steeper the force curve (large throttle opening), the more
intense the melting.
The range is predetermined by the choice of booster and sonotrode amplifi-
cation.
In addition, the generator allows for a fine variation in the window of the start
amplitude of up to 100% in 1% increments.
Switches the ultrasound on according to a predefined value (pressure
difference between upper and lower piston end).
Setting value for above example: trigger 1.0 [-]
Determines the ultrasound stop. The easiest way is to start in Time mode.
Later you can easily switch to another mode.
Limits are intended to optimise production and should therefore be program-
med later.
