Operation Section

4. START UP

This section describes the steps for starting up the equipment from the deactivated state to the standby
state for analysis.
Follow the startup sequence specified below.

(1) Preparation of the water chiller

(2) Power on the equipment

(3) Start up the control software

(4) Initialization and aging

(5) Equipment diagnosis

4.1 Preparation of the Water Chiller

Open the cooling water valves on the primary side.
Power on the water chiller, and flow the cooling water to X-ray tube in the equipment before
generating X-ray.
(Refer to the manual of the water chiller)
When power on, check the flow rate, pressure and temperature of the secondary cooling water.
(These values are dependent of the chiller.)
