5.5 Remove the cleaning object
After cleaning:
⇒ Remove the cleaning vessel and open the lid while holding over a washbasin
or sink unit�
Never open the cleaning beaker in the device!
⇒ Place the holding magnets on the outside of the beaker so that
the cleaning needles collect on the inner wall of the beaker�
⇒ The object can now be easily removed using the supplied twee-
zers�
Rinse the cleaned object with water thoroughly and disinfect
according to the national hygiene regulations before handing
back to the patient.
Check the object carefully for any cleaning needle residues
before handing back to the patient or inserting into the pa-
tient’s mouth.
Use the cleaning fluid only once!
Bacterial contamination can occur when the object is placed into the cleaning liquid. Therefore,
the cleaning liquid must be replaced for each cleaning operation.
5.6 Optional intensive cleaning with SYMPROfluid Nicoclean
If there are still stubborn nicotine residues on the object after cleaning with SYMPROfluid Universal, it is
recommended to subsequently clean with the special cleaning fluid SYMPROfluid Nicoclean. To do so,
place the object to be cleaned into the grey cleaning beaker and cover completely with SYMPROfluid
Nicoclean. After an immersion time of 5 - 10 mins (without the use of cleaning needles and the cleaning
device!) the cleaned object can be taken out using plastic tweezers� Remove any residue by brushing
under warm running tap water with a toothbrush or denture cleaning brush�
Rinse the cleaned object with water thoroughly and disinfect according to the national hygiene
regulations before handing back to the patient.

5.7 Disposal of cleaning fluid
After cleaning with the SYMPRO cleaning device, hold the cleaning needles with the help of the magnet
on the base of the cleaning beaker and carefully pour the used cleaning fluid into a collection canister.
We recommend for example, empty SYMPROfluid (Universal and Nicoclean) containers 2000 ml made
from polypropylene (PP)�
Hold the cleaning needles back by holding the magnet against the cleaning beaker.
Dispose of according to national disposal regulations�

Since these are corrosive cleaning fluids, please wear personal protective equipment!
Remove residues of cleaning liquids on working surfaces immediately with a damp cloth and rub
dry with a dry cloth.
6 Cleaning / Maintenance
This device does not contain any parts that require maintenance.
The operator and user are responsible for the correct cleaning and disinfection of all system com-
ponents (Cleaning device, cleaning bowl incl. lid and seals, sound-proof ring, adaptor ring, clean-
ing needles, Nicoclean cleaning bowls, tweezers) after each cleaning process and for compliance
with the national hygiene regulations.
