8.3 Sensor Module Cleaning

During the course of normal operation, a film of gas vapor may
build up inside the sensor module. The rate at which the film
develops depends on the type and concentration of the vapors
being sampled. As a guide, it is recommended to clean the
sensor module upon returning from field work.

The sensor module is made of four major components, as
shown in Figure 8.2:

Moisture filter and O-ring

Lamp house
Lamp and O-ring
