SECTION 6 COMPUTER INTERFACE FOR MINIRAE

After viewing the data results, it is possible to print the data to a
printer in order to obtain a hard copy of the text or graphic data
report. To print the graphic data, choose the

Plot

function form

the

View

sub-menu first. The graphic data will be displayed.

Users need to select

Print

function from the

File

sub-menu, or

click the

Print

icon ( a printer ) from the tool bar to print the

graphic data. To print the text data, choose the

Data

function

form the

View

sub-menu first. The text data will be displayed

in a browse window. Then click

Print

button to print the text

data.

A printer setup dialog box will appear before the printing starts
so that the paper size, orientation, printer type, etc. can be
configured correctly.

Note:

the MiniRAE Plus to PC interface uses parallel port on

the PC. If the printer also uses the parallel port on the PC, it is
necessary to disconnect the MiniRAE Plus interface cable from
the parallel port and connect the printer to it before a hard copy
can be made. A convenient way to do so is to use a A-B
switch box which allows users to switch between the MiniRAE
Plus and a parallel printer quickly.
