SECTION 6 COMPUTER INTERFACE FOR MINIRAE

Due to hardware differences between MiniRAE (model PGM-
75) and MiniRAE Plus (model PGM-76IS and PGM-76), the
ProRAE-76 software package is not compatible with the
existing ProRAE-75 software package. The ProRAE-76 will
only work with MiniRAE Plus product line while the ProRAE-
75 will only work with MiniRAE product line.
All the major features are identical between these two versions
of software packages. The only differences in ProRAE-76 are
summarized bellow:
1) A text browse window is used to display text data, instead of
using the Notepad

program from Windows. This will
eliminate some confusion.
2) The data file will always be saved in binary format with .cfg
file extension. User does not need to deal with two type of data
files ( binary and text file ) as in ProRAE-75 software.
3) The Survey mode data can also be displayed in graphic
format, as with the Hygiene mode data. However, the graphic
data is only meaningful when the data is collected in continuous
sampling mode ( See Section 5.13 for details of datalog mode).
