Appendix A: QRP Labs Classic QCX CAT Port
Here’s the schematic for the QCX CAT port required for QCX
Classic revs 1-5.

Revs 1-4 need all of the components
•
Rev 5 has the resistors and diode already installed.
You just need to add the 3.5mm connector
•
QCX+ and QCX Mini have the CAT port installed
already. Nothing further is needed.
NOTE: The QCX and QSX must always be connected to the
FT-Q port on the SideKar Decoder Edition NOT the RS-232
port on the top. QRPworks is not responsible for any
damage to the SideKar Decoder Edition or the QCX if the
wrong serial port is used.
