Using the SideKar Decoder Edition Pushbuttons
The 2 buttons labeled PB1 and PB2 on the top are
multipurpose and can be configured to perform your 2 most
favorite functions with a just the press of a button. This is
useful to access functions more quickly or just to use a
function without touching the keyboard.
The buttons are configured individually at startup. When you
see the following screen, hold both buttons until the screen
changes as follows:
The screen will then show:
Then tap either button to scroll through the list of functions until
you see the one you want. Now hold the button of your choice
until you see “Button 1 Set” or “Button 2 Set”. The function is
now assigned to the button you held, and will be remembered
even when powered off.
To assign the second button, reset the SideKar Decoder
Edition ( Alt- R ) and repeat this process.
The default functions shipped are:

Freeze the Display (PB1)

Log a QSO (PB2)
