Operating:
- Go to the log screen and enter the call.
- Hit TAB to perform dupe checking.
- Hit the F key message you set up to send your call.
- If the station comes back to you, hit the second F key to
send the exchange.
- Go to the log again, enter the exchange received and
hit ENTER to log the QSO.
Here are the original contest features:
Use the exclamation point ( ! ) in a message to substitute the
other stations call.
Example:

Let’s say F2 is used to send an exchange

First enter
“! 599 CO” without the quotes in
message F2

W1ABC calls you. Use ALT-C to enter the other
station’s call W1ABC, and press Enter. Then,
pressing F2 will send “W1ABC 599 CO”
OR…by using Grab & Go,
•
W1ABC calls you. Press F2 and type or Key-board
W1ABC. W1ABC is sent on the air as you type or
Key-board it.
•
Press Enter, F2 again.
•
“599 CO” is then sent to complete the message.
If the contest exchange is static text, like RST and section
(“599 SFL”) or name and state (“Steve NY”), the exchange can
simply be put in one of the 20 text message locations (F1:F10,
Alt-F1:Alt-F10) and sent with a single keystroke.
