You just type and the SideKar

Decoder Edition

and the rig will

take care of the rest. Note the QCX is CW only

To send CW to a non-interfaced rig (no CAT connection or
CAT does not support transmitting characters), use a stereo
cable with 3.5mm connectors from the SideKar

Decoder

Edition

“Key Out” port on the right side to your rig key port.

Set the rig to straight key mode (not paddle). Plug your
paddle into the Paddle port on the SideKar

Decoder Edition

Paddling or typing on the keyboard will send CW to your rig.
