VIBXPERT Balancing 11.2010

Setup parameters

This section describes the measurement settings that you generally
can only edit before beginning a balance measurement. The parame-
ters are contained in the 'Setup menu':

- Machine setup (see below)
- Measurement setup (see p. 2-28)
- Transducer setup (see VIBXPERT operating manual, page 2-20)

Machine setup

A 'machine setup' contains the machine data and information on the
measurement setup. VIBXPERT uses these data to calculate a suitable
trial weight and, after each balancing run, the remaining imbalance,
centrifugal force and the attained balancing quality. To create a
machine setup, proceed as follows:

• Mark a rotor type in the selection screen (see p. 2-11).

• Press the MENU button and click on "Task manager".

• Mark the "Machine setup" field.

• Press the MENU button and click on "New" or on "Edit":
