Configuring a Radio - Detailed Configuration
The RLX2-IHx series radios include a built-in
Web Server
that allows you to both monitor
and to configure your radio. The webpages can be displayed from any computer that can
connect to the radio through a wired Ethernet connection or a wireless connection.
You can monitor and change the settings for your radio using any type of computer that
has a web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome. These
include desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, or smart phones.

Connecting to the Radio Configuration Interface
This section describes how to connect to the radio using a web browser such as Internet
Explorer or Firefox on your PC or other network-enabled device.
To connect to the radio
Important: Your computer or other device must be connected to the same network as the RLX2-IHx series
radio.

Log into the radio. You can do this in any of three ways:

In the IH Browser List view or Topography view, right-click the radio and then
click
C
ONNECT
.

In the IH Browser List view or Topography view, double-click the radio.
o
Open a web browser on your PC, and then in the address bar, type
http://
,
followed by the IP address for the radio, and then press
E
NTER
. For example,
http://192.168.6.10
.
The login screen appears in the web browser.

Enter the password and then click
L
OGIN
. The default password is
password
.

(page 38) for entering an initial password to enable the configuration tabs. If
you have lost the password for the radio, you can reset the radio to its default
settings. See
