Resetting a RLX2-IHx series Radio
If you lose the password to a radio, you cannot change the radio settings. You can reset
the radio to restore the default password, but the radio loses all the configuration
settings and returns to the default settings.
6.3.1 Resetting the RLX2-IHNF-W and RLX2-IHNF-WC to Defaults
These steps reset the radio to its default settings, including the default password.

Remove power from the radio.

Press the
Reset
button. The Reset button is located on the front of the unit just under
the ProSoft logo.

While holding down the button, apply power to the radio and continue to hold the
button down for 30 seconds.
This resets the radio to its default settings. You can now log in to the radio using the
default password:
