The alarm delay times prevent the alarm from being triggered
when the turbidity briefly exceeds or drops below the limit value.
The delay function works as follows:
n
Delay time
‘Alarm on’ : The turbidity must exceed the ‘Alarm
setpoint’ for at least the number of seconds set here before the
alarm is triggered. The alarm will not be triggered if the time of
the
‘Alarm delay time on’ is set to 5 seconds and the turbidity
exceeds the
‘Alarm limit value’ for only 4 seconds. However,
the sensor triggers an alarm if the turbidity exceeds the
‘Alarm
setpoint’ for 5 seconds or longer.
n
Delay time
‘Alarm off’ : The turbidity must remain below the
‘Alarm setpoint’ for at least the number of seconds set here
before the alarm is deactivated. The alarm will not be deacti‐
vated if the time of the
‘Alarm delay time off’ has been set to 5
seconds and the turbidity remains below the
‘Alarm setpoint’
for only 4 seconds. The sensor deactivates the alarm as soon
as the turbidity remains below the
‘Alarm setpoint’ for a min‐
imum of 5 seconds.
