• To p lay files in AVCHD fo r mat on a USB device, c r eate
a folde r named “AVCHD” on the USB device, then
co p y the “BDMV” folde r containing which the files to
be p layed into the “AVCHD” folde r .
4 Select the title/track or file you want to play.
Use

/

to select, then pr ess ENTER .
Playback sta r ts f r om the selected title/t r ack o r file.
• If the file you want to p lay is in the folde r , select the
folde r that contains the file fi r st.
Playing back image files

About Slideshow
A dis p lay of the files on the disc o r in the folde r switches
automatically.
Note
• When p laying an audio CD (CD-DA/SACD/DTS-CD),
the Now Playing sc r een is dis p layed.
• Some BD-R/-RE discs have p layback pr otection. To
cancel the pr otection, in p ut the p asswo r d set fo r the
disc.
• It may take a few seconds befo r e p layback sta r ts. This
is no r mal.
• It may not be p ossible to p lay some files pr o p e r ly.
• The numbe r of views may be r est r icted.
• De p ending on the connected devices and conditions,
some time may be r equi r ed fo r p layback to sta r t and
fo r the image to switch.
Playing in the desired
order (Playlist)
The discs that can add t r acks and files to the Playlist a r e
as shown below.
• DVDs/CDs/USB devices on which audio files a r e
r eco r ded
Adding tracks/files
Use this pr ocedu r e to add t r acks and files, and c r eate the
Playlist .
1 Press HOME MEDIA GALLERY to display the
Home Media Gallery.
The Home Media Galle r y can also be dis p layed by
selecting Home Media Galle r y f r om Home Menu, then
pr essing ENTER .
2 Select Disc or USB.
Load the disc befo r ehand.
Use  /  to select, then pr ess ENTER .
3 Select the track/file to be added.
Use

to select.
4 Press POP UP MENU to display the POP UP MENU
menu.
5 Select Add to Playlist to add to Playlist.
Use

/

to select, then pr ess ENTER .
The t r ack o r file selected in ste p 3 is added to the
Playlist
.
• To add mo r e t r acks o r files, r e p eat ste p s 3 to 5.
Playing the Playlist
1 Press HOME MEDIA GALLERY to display the
Home Media Gallery.
The Home Media Galle r y can also be dis p layed by
selecting Home Media Galle r y f r om Home Menu, then
pr essing ENTER .
2 Select Playlist.
Use

/

to select, then pr ess ENTER .
3 Select the track/file to be played.
Use

/

to select, then pr ess ENTER .
Playback sta r ts f r om the selected t r ack/file and continues
until the end of the list is r eached. Use

/

to p lay
the pr evious o r next t r ack/file. The Now Playing sc r een is
dis p layed.
Deleting tracks/files from
the Playlist
1 Select the track/file to be deleted, then press POP
UP MENU to display the POP UP MENU menu.
2 Use  /  to select Remove from Playlist, then
press ENTER.
