About playback behavior over a
network
• Playback may stall when the PC is switched off o r any
media files sto r ed on it a r e deleted while p laying
content.
• If the r e a r e pr oblems within the netwo r k envi r onment
(heavy netwo r k t r affic, etc.) content may not be
dis p layed o r p layed pr o p e r ly ( p layback may be
inte rr u p ted o r stalled). Fo r best p e r fo r mance, a
10BASE-T/100BASE-TX connection between the
p laye r and the PC is r ecommended.
• If seve r al clients a r e p laying simultaneously, as the
case may be, p layback is inte rr u p ted o r stalled.
• De p ending on the secu r ity softwa r e installed on a
connected PC and the setting of such softwa r e,
netwo r k connection may be blocked.

Playing back the files sto r ed on the com p onents
connected to the p laye r via netwo r k.
1 Press HOME MEDIA GALLERY to display the
Home Media Gallery.
The Home Media Galle r y can also be dis p layed by
selecting Home Media Galle r y f r om Home Menu, then
pr essing ENTER .
2 Select DLNA Search.
Use

/

to select, then pr ess ENTER .
3 Select the server which contains the file you want
to play.
4 Select the file you want to play.
Use  /  to select, then pr ess ENTER .
Note
• This p laye r does not su pp o r t DTCP-IP.
Reco r ded files and contents that a r e pr otected by
digital co p y r ight pr otection cannot be p layed via LAN
inte r face.
Disc/USB playback
1 Press HOME MEDIA GALLERY to display the
Home Media Gallery.
The Home Media Galle r y can also be dis p layed by
selecting Home Media Galle r y f r om Home Menu, then
pr essing ENTER .
2 Select Disc or USB.

3 Select Photo/Music/Video/AVCHD.
