Add new entry to Roaming List
Enables the entry of an access point in the roaming list. The MAC address of the access
point is required for the entry. The channel on which the access point can be reached, may
be specified. If the channel is not known, the "Auto" option can be specified.
The "Fast roaming" menu also supports access points from other manufacturers. This
remains possible and is particularly required for 5 GHz with DFS in order to process
dynamic channels. For 2.4 GHz or for 5 GHz with deactivated DFS, the channel for the
access point can be fixed. The client will then only process these access points in the
specified order and roaming thresholds. If an access point cannot be accessed, the device
returns to default scan mode, but the remaining roaming parameters are active.
Fast roaming can also be triggered via SNMP. In principle, the same parameters are
available.
