Access client: In this mode, the device searches for a connection to an access point in order
to create a network connection.
Option: Network name (SSID)
Enter the name of the network here. It is recommended that you do not use names that can
be traced back to your network or the type of data being transmitted.
All clients that want to establish a connection with this access point must recognize this
network name. Default: PxC
"WLAN mode" option
The desired wireless standard can be selected here. All clients that want to communicate
with the access point must support the same wireless standard.
"Regulatory domain" option
The country in which the device is operated must be set here. This setting is used to ensure
that the various national regulations of the individual countries are observed.
"Channel" option
The device can select the channel automatically or it can be set manually. Automatic
channel selection (Auto) is recommended because then the device can switch to another
channel in the event of interference on the channel used.
The SSID can be a maximum of 32 characters long. Valid characters are: a - z, A - Z, 0 - 9
and the following special characters: _ - ? $ @ ! { } [ ] ( ) + # ; , < > | / : * ~ % & =
NOTE: Incorrect settings
Incorrect settings for the installation location can result in illegal wireless settings, which
are construed as an offense by the relevant authorities. The device operator is
responsible for making the correct settings.
Due to legal requirements, channels in the 5 GHz range cannot be fixed, and the
transmission channel is randomly selected from the available channels.
If other WLANs are operated in parallel, manual radio field planning is required to avoid
restrictions in radio communication.
In this case, the transmission channel should be specified manually. Please note that
"DFS" must be disabled so that the channels can be set manually.
