Be sure to enable the use of the Infrared Communication Port in the same way for
the computer with which communications will take place. It is possible to confirm
whether infrared communications is possible with another computer by selecting
[Status] in [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel] - [Infrared].

Position your computer so that the infrared communication
port is face-to-face with the port of another computer

Select [My Computer] - [Infrared Recipient] on both computers

Select [Send Files] on the computer that will send a file

Select the file to be sent and then select [Open] to commence
the sending of the file
It will be sent to the [My Received Files] folder if the receiving computer is run-
ning Windows 98.
Separate application software is necessary for processing at a transfer speed
of 4
Mbps
or when communicating with a computer running Windows 95 or
Windows NT.

Double-click [Wireless Link] on the desktop on the computer
that will send a file

Select the file to be sent and then select [Send]

Select [Yes] on the computer that will receive the file and after
receiving the file, then select [Close]
It will be sent to the desktop if the receiving computer is running Windows 2000.
Infrared communications cannot be performed with a computer running
an Operating System (OS) other than Windows 98 or Windows 2000.
Communications at 4 Mbps is not supported due to the lack of software.
