Confirm the displacement sensor specifications and check that the displacement sensor
analog output is stable enough before entering the displacement sensor trigger. If the
displacement sensor trigger is input when the output is not stable, it will affect the marking
quality.
Input the displacement sensor trigger when the shutter of the laser marker is opened.
T2
500 μs or more
Maintain the ON status for 500 μsec. or more.
T3
51 ms or more
Time taken to reflect the displacement volume imported in the laser marker.
After displacement sensor trigger is input, keep the marking trigger ON for 51 ms or more.
If the marking trigger is input before 51 ms, it will affect the marking quality.
T4

Do not input the displacement sensor trigger while the marking output is ON.
If the sensor trigger is input during marking, it is not reflected in the laser marker.

• Once the displacement sensor value is input, it is valid for every marking until the next value is input or the laser maker
power is turned off.
If the displacement sensor value is to be invalidated, turn OFF the laser marker power.
• The measurement value may not always be stable during guide laser scanning due to the emission wavelength of the
displacement sensor.
In this case, stop the guide laser before measuring.
• If the displacement sensor trigger is input when the displacement sensor error signal is ON, the laser marker outputs
warning: E681 and the displacement volume is not imported to the laser marker.
• The laser marker cannot detect the displacement sensor error while the shutter is closed. Therefore, input the sensor
trigger while the shutter is opened. Otherwise, the laser marker can import the wrong displacement value if an error
occurs in the displacement sensor.
