1.4 Setting tool

1.4.1 What is setting tool?

Setting tool: Configurator KR

Configurator KR is the operating setting tool for KR wireless unit. It is possible to do the routing
setting of master and slave, various test that is convenient for installing, back up of master
setting and so on.
It is possible to download from our company’s web site. In KR20, please use Ver1.20 or later.

Parts name and functions of setting tool

[Routing setting]

Routing setting that is set by setting tool is setting the route of data communication from master to
slave, from slave to terminal equipment when doing wireless communication. In setting tool, the
locations of wireless units and terminal equipment are expressed by tree-shaped structure.

State of routing table view and terminal equipment list view of setting tool display above indicates
the following location figure. (Terminal equipment list view indicate that terminal equipment1 is
connected to slave3)
